House of Pain by Denna Holm is a great story to read. This is book number one in this great start to a brand new series to read. I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to the next book in this great series. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review. Denna Holm is a new author to me, and I am so glad that I found her! I enjoy books about the rebuilding of society, and this was far from the norm. The characters were believable, the plot well thought out. I was afraid that the sex scenes of the book would be too over the top for my taste, given the central character is a succubus, however they were woven into the storyline and not just gratuitous. If you are looking for a well written, interesting read, this book is a good choice. — Amazon Reviewer
